Danielson, CT- The Council for Christian Arts in partnership with churches in the Danielson area will be hosting “Rockin’ The Streets” on Sunday, August 21st at Davis Park on Route 12 in Danielson, CT.

The festivities will begin at 1 pm and is scheduled to run until 6 pm. This year, several local Christian artists and vendors will be on display, as well as an awesome variety of music featuring worship teams and musicians from area churches. Groups will be scheduled throughout the afternoon and will feature worship music from the worship team at Gospel Light Christian Fellowship in Dayville. In addition, there will be several Christian artists including the vocal duo of Sound Judgment, All 4 Him, The Sunday Night Band, NBJ (Nothing But Jesus) and The Fava Family. Contemporary Christian Soloist, Christine Mercado will also be featured. At 3PM a clown will bring an inspirational time for children, with a time of testimony scheduled for later in the afternoon. The day promises to bring an enjoyable time for all, with great Christian music, food, fun and fellowship.

The Council for Christian Arts is a faith based, non-profit organization dedicated to reaching out to individuals and sharing the love of Jesus Christ, regardless of denomination or church affiliation. The group organizes several Christian music festivals throughout Windham County, including Praise Festival at Jilson Square in Willimantic and SonShine Day in Putnam, which is scheduled for September 11, 2011 in Rotary Park. All events when hosted by the Council of Christian Arts, are free and open to the public.
